Terms and Conditions

Welcome to ChessMate Camp! By enrolling your child in ChessMate Camp, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline the policies that ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fair experience for all participants.

Enrollment and Payment:

  • A completed registration form and full payment are required to reserve a spot in the program.

  • Enrollment is confirmed only after payment has been processed and you receive a confirmation email.

  • Payment may be made through approved methods listed on the registration page.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refunds are available if cancellation is made at least 10 days before the program start date.

  • Cancellations made within 10 days of the start date are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued after the program begins, except in cases of medical emergencies.

  • ChessMate Camp reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or credit will be provided.

Attendance and Conduct:

  • Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and arrive on time.

  • Good behavior and respect toward instructors and peers are mandatory.

  • Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the camp without a refund.

  • Parents are responsible for ensuring their child’s safe drop-off and pick-up at designated times.

Health and Safety:

  • Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs on the registration form.

  • Instructors are not authorized to administer medication.

  • In case of emergency, ChessMate Camp staff may contact emergency services and the parent/guardian immediately.

  • ChessMate Camp follows all venue-specific safety and cleanliness requirements.

Photography and Media Consent:

  • During sessions, ChessMate Camp may take photos or short videos for promotional or educational use (e.g., website, flyers, or social media).

  • Parents who do not wish for their child’s image to be used must indicate this on the registration form or by written request before the program begins.

Personal Belongings:

  • ChessMate Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • Students are encouraged to bring only essential items (e.g., water bottle, small snack).

Privacy Policy:

  • Personal information collected during registration is used solely for administrative purposes (registration, communication, and emergency contact).

  • ChessMate Camp will never share or sell personal information to third parties.
